Following his heart in to business, Stephen Spriggs started into entrepreneurship as a young adult.  Managing his small business, he gained skills in accounting, team management, financial planning and customer service.  During the past fifteen years he has also followed his belief in education and still continues to reach goals of higher learning and recognition.   Through this course of education, certification and business growth, the next chapter in business started.

Stephen began his career with one of the largest banks in Canada as Mortgage Specialist,   learning the workings of a bank from the inside.  Now as an accredited Mortgage Agent with Homeguard Funding Ltd. Verico, he utilizes the brokerages 27 year history, his experience and knowledge to counsel and assist with his client’s financial needs and to help meet their financial goals.  He has the experience and support to work with individuals from those with credit challenges to those that are financially sophisticated.   Exceptional service is not only expected from his clients but is also expected by his brokerage and demanded personally.

Stephen believes in integrity and ethics, and strives to enforce these believes through best business practices which mirror the “Mortgage Brokers, Lenders and Administrators Act”.  He demonstrates his dedication to the industry being involved with Provincial and Federal bodies whose intentions are for the protection of borrowers and lenders and betterment of the mortgage industry in general.
